Your contribution will help us make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. Through education, advocacy and public education, ICDRI promotes best practices and the equalization of opportunities for people with disabilities so that they can lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

ICDRI is a not-for-profit organization that seeks funding through government and private grants. We are also supported by donations from concerned citizens who care deeply about disability rights and advocacy.

Your investment in ICDRI helps us continue our important work in serving as a global policy center devoted to equal access for people with disabilities and the removal of barriers to employment, health care and technology in the global society.

If you make a donation or would like to make one please let us know so we can send you a thank you note, we appreciate every donation and we would like to thank everyone who makes one.

Donations ARE Tax Deductible, we will supply you a letter if needed either electronically or hard copy

If you have difficulties making a donation, please contact us so we can assist you.

It now appears that a significant crossroad has been reached where our policies, technologies and purchasing choices will determine whether or not every person will be able to benefit from and directly participate in the digital economy. Although technology changes, civil rights do not.”

Make a Bequest or Planned Will

There are several ways that you can make a bequest or gift through your will to ICDRI. The provision you choose will depend upon your circumstances, what type of property you wish to bequeath, and your other obligations. The kinds of bequests you can make are:

Specific Bequest: This is where you bequeath a specific sum of cash or other property for a program you name or for ICDRI's use where most needed. Here is some suggested wording for making a specific bequest:

"I bequeath to the International Center for Disability Resources on the Internet, Raleigh, North Carolina, the sum of $_________________, to be used by said corporation for its general purposes."

Residuary Bequest: In this case you bequeath a specified percentage or all of the assets remaining in your estate after other expenses and bequests have been paid.

Contingent Bequest: In this case you direct that a specific amount or a percentage of your estate be paid to ICDRI, only if your other beneficiary (is) does not survive you.

Your attorney can provide the proper language for the bequest you choose. The information provided is for general educational purposes only. For advice and assistance in specific cases ICDRI recommends that you seek the services of a legal or financial advisor.
