We are a network of medical students and health care providers from the Greater Philadelphia area who are very much concerned with the health issues of Asian Pacific Americans. This is an underserved community that has many unique needs which have been traditionally ignored. There are language, cultural and health care access barriers to name a few examples. We are committed to understanding these needs and promoting activities that will help to meet these needs.

Through medical student initiated volunteer efforts and community activism we hope to:

educate the APA community on important health issues
serve as a catalyst to promote awareness of APA health issues and advocate health policy changes
provide mentorship to medical students to encourage involvement in the APA community
